Priming the Boiler
When using your Eurosteam® Iron for the first time, you will need to prime the boiler. Priming the boiler ensures that your Eurosteam® Iron boiler is heating the water and pressurizing the steam for optimal performance. There are two methods which can be used to prime the boiler. Please choose the method that works best for you.
Method 1

Fill the measuing cup, slightly below the fill line, with tap water. Do not use distilled water as this may cause damage to your boiler.

Remove boiler screw cap and place beside the iron.

Insert funnel into the opening and place filler cup contents into the boiler.

Place the screw cap back into the boiler and tighten. Finger tight only. (Do not tighten too much as this may cause damage with the o'ring on the screw cap)

Plug your iron into a power surge protected cord and then plug your surge protected cord into an electrical outlet

Turn on the power switch

You will then see the orange indicator light come on. It is located just behind the steam dial. Wait until the light goes out. Your Eurosteam® Iron is now ready to be primed.

Hold the iron horizontally.

Turn the steam dial, located next to the screw cap, all the way to the right (clockwise).

Hold iron horizontally for remaining few minutes. When the steaming has ceased place iron horizontally on resting pad.

Turn off power switch.

Unplug from power source.

Allow unit to cool for 20 minutes. Your Eurosteam® Iron is now primed and ready to use.
Method 2

2. Remove boiler screw cap and place beside the iron.

3. Insert funnel into the opening and place filler cup contents into the boiler.

4. Place the screw cap back into the boiler and tighten. Finger tight only. (Do not tighten too much as this may cause damage with the o'ring on the screw cap)

5. Plug your iron into a power surge protected cord and then plug your surge protected cord into an electrical outlet

6. Turn on the power switch

While the iron is in motion quickly depress and release center white button on steam dial to produce a wrinkle busting burst of steam. In the off position you have maximum bursts of steam to efficiently and effectively iron. Keep moving your iron to spread the steam. Each time the center button is depressed a burst of steam will be released. It is recommended that the iron always be used with this steam dial setting.

When the steam dial is turned all the way to the right you will have continuous steam. You will quickly run out of water if the iron is used with this setting.

At the end of every, ironing, session let your Eurosteam® Iron cool down for 15 minutes.

Slowly remove the boiler screw cap.

It is recommended that the Eurosteam® Iron be emptied after each use. This will prevent the iron from becoming overfilled and any remaining water may calcify inside the iron.
Store your Eurosteam® Iron in a safe place with screw cap off and boiler tank empty.
Cleaning the Boiler
It is recommended that you clean your boiler every 2-3 months if you average 1-3 ironing sessions per week. If you iron more frequently it is recommended that you clean your boiler once a month. Please follow these simple cleaning instructions.
