Our Ultrasonic Cleaner uses ordinary tap water and 42,000 energy waves per second to clean your items. This Ultrasonic Cleaner has a 20.3-ounce capacity, stainless steel cleaning chamber and auto shut-off. The automatic 3-minute cleaning cycle makes it easy to use. The Ultrasonic Cleaner creates ultrasonic frequencies that are between 20 kHz and 80 kHz. Ultrasonic cleaners are faster, more consistent, and safer than any other cleaning product that utilizes an ultrasonic cleaning process. Hand scrubbing, soaking, or steam does not even come close.
Use it to clean: Jewelry, coins, dentures, shaving items, glasses, cd/dvd’s and much more...
How can sound clean? When an ultrasonic sound travels through liquid it generates a physical effect called "cavitations". The cavitations is the process of a sound wave stretching and compressing the liquid medium to transmit sound. When the amplitude the sound wave reaches a level that liquid can no longer hold the stretch in, it literally tears the water apart. As a result, millions of vacuumed "bubbles" are formed under the extreme negative pressure. These vacuumed "bubbles" continue to grow in size until their equilibrium is reached. When this is achieved they rapidly compress and create millions of tiny liquid jets. a temperature of more than 5000 degrees Celsius and more than 10,000 PSI (pounds per square inch). The incredible pressure each "bubble" releases is responsible for the effective cleaning action an ultrasonic cleaner offers. Since cavitations occurs anywhere liquid can reach, ultrasonic cleaners are capable of entering into fine details or cracks to clean.
How does ultrasonic cleaning work? Cavitation, the collapse of millions of tiny bubbles created by ultrasonic vibrations, releases high energy and enormous cleaning power. This cleaning action gently and thoroughly removes dirt, oil, and contaminants from every surface in contact with the cleaning fluid. Because the liquid can penetrate into very small crevices, ultrasonic cleaning can clean very intricate items that cannot be cleaned by hand.
Are there any other items that the Ultrasonic can clean? Many young people are using ultrasonic cleaners for their retainers and removable orthodontic devices.
When you visit an optometrist, it is likely that optical lens ultrasonic cleaning is being used on contact lenses, eye glasses, and professional optical components. Cleaning eyeglasses at home with an ultrasonic cleaner is a fast and gentle way to keep them as clean as new.
There are many household products that can be safely cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner such as tweezers, razor blades and shavers, combs, scissors, can openers, and items that have small openings that are difficult to clean by hand. In addition to health related uses, ultrasonic cleaning is ideal for jewellery, coins, tools, and many other products made of glass, metal, or plastic.
In all areas of medicine, ultrasonic cleaning is one of the fastest, safest methods of cleaning tools and instruments. The same technology available to hospitals, dentists, optometrists, and veterinarians can be purchased today for home use. In many cases, easy to use ultrasonic cleaners can replace the need for hand scrubbing and chemicals.
Can I use cleaning solution in the Ultrasonic? We recommend you put one(1)-two(2) drops of dish soap along with warm water into your Ultrasonic cleaner. |
